Spend the day immersed in local life. Join group discussions, community support efforts, and community and environmental projects.
Day 4 Los Santos

Spend the morning continuing your immersion process.

Enjoy a Paraiso del Quetzal tour and catch a glimpse of the beautiful local birds.
Day 5 Los Santos

Continue your immersion experience as you spend the day participating in community support, environmental projects and cultural activities. Later, enjoy taking part in farewell activities.
Day 6 Los Santos--Manuel Antonio
Travel to Manuel Antonio
Details: Manuel Antonio National Park guided visit
Take a tour of this national park from a professional, local guide. Manuel Antonio includes 12 islands and is known for its white sands and array of wild life. You will share the park and its four beaches with sea turtles, parrots, three-toed sloths, tapirs, howler monkeys and iguanas. A word to the wise—be careful of the sneaky white face monkeys. They know how to unzip backpacks. The park boasts an estuary, mangroves, a lagoon and paths, one which leads to an observation tower for a 360° view.

Experience the thrill of a 2-hour ATV adventure through Costa Rica’s stunning landscapes, guided by bilingual experts who ensure both excitement and safety. Explore rugged trails, lush forests, and breathtaking waterfalls, and natural pools. Please note: Only individuals aged 16 and older with a valid license are permitted to drive ATVs, while younger participants will ride in buggies driven by assigned guides.
Day 7 Manuel Antonio--San Jose
Details: LEAP Ox Cart Crafts
A local artisan introduces you to the origins of traditional Costa Rican craftmaking, such as Ox Cart painting. Try your own hand at painting and take home your art as a souvenir.

Spend some time learning how to paint a national symbol of Costa Rica, the wheel of an Ox Cart. While we are painting there will be contests, games and little dances. All fees and materials for this opportunity are included.

Costumed Costa Rican folklore dancers teach you the El Torito, as well as other traditional dances, then relax and watch the pros perform.
Day 8 End Tour
