NETC group leader peggy hoffman"This April I traveled with my students on NETC's France, Mediterranean and Spain tour. When we arrived, I had no idea what a magical experience it would be. I highly recommend that Provence be put on everyone's bucket list.  Originally Provence was not my number one destination; I was most excited to visit the Guggenheim in Bilbao, Spain.  Now after my France and Spain trip I have decided to plan an all France trip.

"Overall my students loved everything about Provence. The fencing lesson they received during NETC's LEAP! activity, En Garde, was a highlight, along with discovering the charm of Avignon and Arles.

"For me, there are three things that stand out from the tour. As an art teacher, I found the calligraphy lesson outstanding. Our instructor was a renowned, master craftsman, responsible for incredible illuminations. The second memory was looking out our hotel window and being able to see the Popes' Palace. The third was attending a wine tasting in the Popes' Palace! And, what is not to love about having your first French macaroon, which was also a favorite of all my students.

"I have been traveling with students for several years. I have had the joy of seeing my students develop into world travelers. Many have studied abroad, which has led them to careers in fashion, languages and international communications.

"I will continue to travel with NETC for two specific reasons: the first is the wonderful NETC staff. They work with me to meet all of my requests to create an engaging and educational experience. Secondly, their tour guides our exceptional in every way. The tour guides I have come across in all my travels with NETC continue to amaze me. Their knowledge is thorough and their rapport with my students makes the trip memorable for all of us. Many of my students still keep in touch with their tour guides.

"Planning my next trip is always such fun for me. I enjoy landing at our destinations and discovering what the cities have to offer."
