1. Take in the best panoramic view of London from the city's top attraction, the London Eye. This year the London Eye celebrates its 10th birthday. This 30 minute guided "flight" takes visitors 450 feet up in the air (the tallest observation wheel in the world), and provides breathtaking views for miles. Although wonderful during the day, the views at night when the city is aglow are even more spectacular. Planning to visit London? Book your ticket in advance online or by phone and skip the lines.

2. Kensington Palace has been a popular Royal home since 1689. Princess Diana had an apartment in the palace from 1981 to 1997. See some of the famous and elegant dresses she wore along with a collection of other English court dress.

3. Tate Modern contemporary art museum is housed in the former Bankside Power Station on the bank of the Thames. The awe-inspiring Turbine Hall runs the length of the entire building and you can see amazing work by artists such as Cézanne, Bonnard, Matisse, Picasso, Rothko, Dalí, Pollock, Warhol and Bourgeois. This is free to the public!

4. For a glimpse into the lives of the Royal Family, visit the Royal Mews and see how they get around. On display you'll find a collection of historic coaches and carriages. Most notable of all the coaches is the Gold State Coach, which looks like it is straight from a fairytale! If you're lucky, you might even get a change to meet some of the beautiful horses in the Royal Stables.

5. With its new arena built in 2007, Wembley Stadium has grown to be one of the country's leading venues for sports and entertainment events and is the home of English football. Take an unforgettable Wembley Stadium Tour and walk in the footsteps of legends by going behind the scenes into the changing rooms, players' tunnel and field.
