Preparing your students for their educational tour is very important. Many students have never been out of the country before, so making sure they are fully informed about what to expect and what to do in certain situations is imperative. Read what these teachers do to get their students ready to travel: "We discuss and have in writing, "What to do if...” scenarios. For example: What if the tour bus leaves and you are left behind?; What if everyone gets on the Metro and you are left behind?; What if you get on the Metro and no one else does?; What if you miss a scheduled meeting time? These are examples of scenarios that can happen. What you decide to do might vary but the important thing is that everyone understands what you want them to do." -Stephen Lord, French teacher, NH Do you have a great tip for preparing your students?
