Fundraising for Your Educational Travel Program

Many groups raise money for their educational travel programs by holding school or community fundraisers. From school dances, to car washes, to painting chairs, fundraisers are a fun and profitable way to raise money for your trip. With the holidays on everyone's minds, here's one excellent fundraiser you could try this month:

Start Wrapping! Wrap presents for shoppers during the busy holiday season. Ask the management of your local shopping mall if you can set up two booths for three weeks during the holidays. Set up your booths from 4-9:30pm three nights a week. Post signs advertising your goal for the project and the cost per wrapped gift. Then, start wrapping! To reduce the cost of the event, ask a shop to donate wrapping paper, tape, etc! Everyone is busy around the holidays making this an exciting and necessary event!
