Embarking on international travel is an exceptional way to practice a foreign language in a real-world setting. What better way to really immerse yourself in a culture and language than to experience it firsthand in its natural setting? From asking a resident where you can watch a flamenco performance in Seville or where the nearest market is in Rome, or ordering a baguette at a café in Paris, these experiences not only build travelers’ confidence, but they also help us explore and practice languages, while making cultural connections.

Because of these opportunities, NETC believes strongly in the benefits of educational travel tours for students and teachers, and we support the associations that encourage the teaching of foreign languages. Therefore, NETC representatives and Educated Travelers will be headed to foreign language conferences all month long to meet the amazing educators who dedicate their time to teaching foreign language and opening doors to students.

Drop by our booth at the following upcoming conferences and learn more about educational travel and why it’s so important for your students. Visitors to NETC’s booth will be entered in a drawing to Win a Free Trip to Europe!

TFLA Conference - October 13-15
Meet Laurel & Rachel in Houston, TX at booth 104!

COFLT Conference - October 14 & 15
Chat with Michael (once a teacher himself) in Portland, OR.

NYSAFLT Conference - October 14-16
Say "hola" to Lee at booth 33 in Rochester, NY.

Can't wait to meet you!
