Art Exposition Opens Today in Paris, France, Private Works by NETC Cover the Canvas Artist

We’re pleased and excited to announce a private showing of works by award winning Scottish artist, Georgia Russell, whose exhibition opens this weekend at the Galerie Karsten Greve in Paris, France. Georgia’s exposition, Difference & Repetition will be displayed in the gallery from October 15th through November 12th.

To produce this collection, Georgia has used photographs, old books and music sheets and re-purposed them by employing quick, lively and repetitive movements that result in entirely new creations.

Georgia has had several international exhibitions in highly renowned institutions, including the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. This exhibition marks her first private showing at the Galerie Karsten Greve.

Georgia inspires young artists who take educational travel tours with NETC. She is one of the artists who leads the LEAP! enriched art activity, Cover the Canvas, which takes place in Paris on many NETC Educational Tours to France. Georgia guides students through the art world, exploring line, color, perspective, negative space and form, and encourages them to produce their own creations, drawing inspiration from the beauty they’ve experienced throughout Paris.
