The 2011 Conference of MIWLA (The Michigan World Language Association) is this Thursday and Friday, October 20th and 21st in Lansing, MI. Keynote speaker, Laura Terrill will “focus on creating success for all learners, suggesting ways to create a classroom environment where teachers and students use the target language consistently in meaningful ways.” After listening to Laura and the other knowledgeable speakers, stop by the NETC booth to learn more about how you can give your students a foreign language experience in real context.

A previous teacher, Michael Edelstein will be there from NETC to answer all of your questions about educational travel and show you how taking a trip abroad can help bring classroom lessons to life for students. Since Michael has experience as an educator, he is full of knowledge about both education and travel and is an excellent resource for any questions you may have.

As a bonus for stopping by our booth, teachers will have the opportunity to Win a  Free Trip to Europe! You will experience educational travel for yourself on a long weekend abroad, while meeting other educators and members of the NETC team. You’ll also discover what makes NETC educational tours unique. If you don't walk away the grand prize winner, you might leave with one of several consolation prizes, including Neil himself, a photo album of his multiple trips around the world, and other exciting giveaways. So definitely don’t miss your chance to win – come say “hi!”

Michael is looking forward to seeing you in Michigan at the MIWLA Conference this week!
