The Emerald Isle
DAY 1-2 FLY TO IRELAND.
Board an overnight flight to the Emerald Isle. Begin your exploration in Dublin.
DAY 3 DUBLIN.
A local guide introduces the Dublin General Post Office, seized during the 1916 Easter Rising, the Dail (Irish Parliament), Phoenix Park, O'Connell Street, and Trinity College. Admire the richly illustrated Book of Kells in the Old Library of Trinity College. This evening, enjoy a Jig by the LiffeyJig by the Liffey Do a Jig. Dance a Reel. Revel in Irish culture. DAY 4 COUNTY CORK.
En route to County Cork, travel through the lush green countryside to the Rock of Cashel for a glimpse of Ireland's turbulent religious background.
DAY 5 BLARNEY CASTLE.
Your Tour Director introduces Cork City. Visit Cobh Queenstown Story Museum, which commemorates Cobh as the most important port of call for the Irish who emigrated. Represent Irish emigrants and uncover the story of their travels Out of IrelandOut of Ireland Walk a mile in the shoes of an Irish emigrant. Uncover personal accounts of the circumstances that forced these inhabitants out of the country. Reflect on the feelings you would have felt in their shoes and discover how their departure shaped the history of Ireland.. Kiss the Blarney Stone in Blarney Castle to receive the "gift of the gab". Continue to County Kerry.
DAY 6 RING OF KERRY.
Journey around the famous Ring of Kerry, a circular, 110-mile road that
brings you along some of Ireland's most stunning coastal and mountain
views.
DAY 7 BUNRATTY CASTLE-CLIFFS OF MOHER.
Climb narrow stairways past intricate stained glass windows in Bunratty Castle, allegedly the most complete medieval castle in Ireland. On your way to the cultural center of Galway, peer 700 feet straight down to the sea on the Cliffs of Moher. DAY 8 CONNEMARA NATIONAL PARK-KYLEMORE ABBEY.
Spend the morning among the flora and fauna of the Connemara National Park, known for its wild ponies and lush greenery. Visit the 19th century mansion of Kylemore Abbey before returning to Galway and Yeats's home at the Tower of Ballylee.
DAY 9 RETURN HOME TO THE UNITED STATES.
