DAY 1-2  FLY TO PARIS.  
Fly through the night to the captivating capital city of France. Begin to explore.

DAY 3  PARIS-VERSAILLES. 
From the romantic cafés surrounding the Arc de Triomphe to the sweeping Champs-Elysées, the majestic Eiffel Tower, and Les Invalides, join a local guide for a view of the City of Lights. Visit the interior of Notre Dame Cathedral, home of the famous fictional hunchback. An optional journey takes you to Louis XIV's decadent Palace of Versailles. En route, travel back in time to Seize the Château!Seize the Château!

DAY 4  LOUVRE.

Live the artist's life. Explore line, color, perspective, negative space and form, then paint a masterpiece inspired by the beauty of Paris.
, then take your time exploring the Louvre Museum. Enjoy breathtaking views from atop the Eiffel Tower.


DAY 5  NORMANDY. 
Journey to the striking coastal landscape that was the battleground of WWII's D-Day. Tour the Memorial Museum of the Battle of Normandy and the American Military Cemetery. Discover the Soldiers' StoriesSoldiers' Stories
Step into the shoes of U.S. servicemen as they land in Normandy on D-Day. Learn about their lives and their experiences to gain personal and historical perspective.
. Continue to the St. Malo area.

DAY 6  MONT ST. MICHEL.  
On the Breton Coast, visit Mont St. Michel, a fortified island of looming spires. Relax while traveling through the lovely French countryside to the Loire Valley.

DAY 7  LOIRE CHATEAUX-CHARTRES. 
Today offers the perfect overview of French history from medieval times to the Renaissance. Compare the contrasting styles of two chateaux - the grace of Chenonceau against the extravagance of the 365-chimney Chambord. Admire the interior of Chartres Cathedral, famous for its lofty stained glass windows. Continue to Paris and board an overnight train to chic Nice.

DAY 8  NICE.  
Submerge yourself in the unofficial capital of the Riviera. See the Promenade des Anglais and Cimiez, where Matisse is buried. Enter the Russian Orthodox church. Later, choose to abandon the hubbub for the beach and a little rest and relaxation.

DAY 9  MONACO-EZE. 
View Monaco's sights during an excursion which highlights the palace of Prince Rainier, the Casino de Monte Carlo, and the Cathedrale de Monaco, where actress/princess Grace Kelly is buried. Visit the charming perched village of Eze. Opt to follow your nose in Making ScentsMaking Scents
Distill your own aromatherapy fragrances and experience firsthand the French passion for perfume. Take your scents home as souvenirs.

DAY 10  RETURN HOME TO THE UNITED STATES,
