
NETC Student Travel Scholarship 2012
Pick any tour itinerary on NETC’s website and record a super fun video commercial about that trip, including highlights of what a visitor would see or do on the tour. Remember to be creative and think outside the box. Some ideas that might help you get started: write and perform a song, act out a scene from the tour, create a movie trailer…just be sure to use your imagination! NETC educational tours are all about being active, so don’t just stand in front of the camera and read off the itinerary - captivate your audience! How will your video stand out from the crowd?
- One grand prize winner will receive a $1,000 Student Travel Scholarship for 2012 travel.
- Two winners will each receive $500 Student Travel Scholarships for 2012 travel.
Contest Rules
- Final videos will be judged on their creativity, originality and video quality.
- Email the link to your video to NETCContest@EducationalTravel.com by November 15th, 2011.
- Videos will be posted to NETC's blog as they are received and entrants will be sent a link to share with classmates, friends & family.
- The five videos with the highest number of comments on December 1st, 2011 by 12:00 noon EST will be finalists.
- Final winners will be announced on December 5th, 2011 by 5:00 PM EST.
- Winners are expected to maintain a daily blog documenting their trip.
- Videos must be no longer than five minutes. Videos over five minutes will not be considered.
- Entrants must be between the ages of 13 and 19 years old.
- 2012 Travel Scholarships are non transferable.
