Aventura Cultural Teacher Immersion Programs
Dramatically improve your Spanish, enhance your teaching skills, and discover a wealth of useful activities for your classroom. The experience willl be invaluable to you both professionally and personally. You'll live with
a host family, receive instruction in teams of four, work on mini-methods with Program Director Tom Alsop, and create your own personal culture project to use in your lessons.
For participating in the Aventura Cultural Program you can also earn six full hours of credit from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs - three graduate credits in Spanish and three undergraduate credits in Language/Culture!

Earn Academic Credit from California State University, Sacramento
- Available for teachers, professors, and college students.
- Earn up to six undergraduate credits (one for each week of travel).
- Earn up to four graduate ("post-bacc") credits (one for each week of travel).
- For teachers: Many school districts accept academic credits (15 hours per credit) as Continuing Education Units.
