Why Quality Matters on Student Tours Abroad

Students on tour need a safe, comfortable environment with easy access to local attractions. They need meals that are both satisfying and authentic.

NETC adheres to very strict standards for all our travel services, those that a reasonable parent would expect for their child. And we guarantee them.Supporting our teachers at home and abroad is a major priority.

NETC's commitment to quality greatly enhances our students' educational experiences, protects and improves our teachers' reputations in their communities, and provides for the comfort and safety of all our participants.

Hotels in city centers enable students
to explore safely in small groups.

Hotels

NETC uses exclusively well-located 3 and 4 star hotels.

Our hotels are always centrally located, near transportation and sights, right where you want to be. Students can safely explore their hotel neighborhood in small groups and practice their language skills in local stores and markets.

With no long commutes in and out of town, you have more time to explore the places you came to see. And after a good night's sleep in a comfortable hotel, students are well-rested and ready to go!

And so are you! Head teachers/group leaders enjoy a private room.

Conveniently Located Hotels

NETC travelers enjoy culturally representative
meals in local restaurants

Restaurants

NETC students enjoy excellent, authentic food.

Breakfasts are continental, often buffet style, and may include croissants, pastries, bread, fruit, cereals, meats and cheeses, as well as milk, juice, coffee, tea or hot chocolate.

Three-course dinners are plentiful, well-balanced and include local cuisine that is an integral part of the culture. NETC selects menus well in advance of the tour to ensure variety and, in major cities, chooses a different restaurant every evening so students can become familiar with the city’s various districts, each with its own traditions and attractions.

NETC Tour Directors are trained educators who turn
everyday moments into rich learning opportunities.

Tour Directors

Only NETC Tour Directors are LEAP!-trained!

LEAP!-training teaches them how students learn, how to include and engage each of them in their own way, and how to help them to think critically and creatively. NETC Tour Directors create dynamic learning environments that turn a sightseeing tour into a vibrant learning experience.

NETC Tour Directors are with the group in the daytime and also in the evenings, leading walking tours and other activities and offering a host of suggestions for exploration and discovery. They stay in the same hotel as the group every night.
