Quality With Purpose

Students do not need luxury accommodations, however an environment that is safe, comfortable and conducive to learning is imperative.

The purpose of NETC's quality is to enhance the learning experience for our students, to protect and enhance our teachers' reputations in their communities, and to provide for the comfort and safety of the whole group.

Unlike sightseeing companies, NETC adheres to a very strict standard for all our tour services (hotels, restaurants etc) AND for the support we provide our teachers and staff at home and, more importantly, abroad. These standards, for all services, are those that a reasonable parent would expect for their child.  And we guarantee them. NETC Service Guarantee

A reasonable parent would not compromise on safety by using poor quality hotels in questionable areas, or squander valuable time abroad by staying far outside cities, nor would they serve their children meager portions of poor quality food. Neither does NETC.

gretchen petrie "The accommodations and the food are outstanding, and the LEAP! activities amazing. The personal attention was wonderful. I would not consider traveling with another company."

Hotels

NETC uses exclusively well-located 3 and 4 star hotels.
In major cities hotels are always centrally located near transportation and sights where you want to be.  Students can safely explore their hotel neighborhood in small groups and practice their language skills in local stores and markets.

With no long commutes in and out of town, you have more time to explore what you have come to see, and students are well-rested and ready to go after a good night's sleep in a comfortable hotel.

A maximum of three students share a room. Head teachers/group leaders have a private room.

Restaurants

NETC students enjoy excellent food.
Dinner is always three courses and plentiful and NETC selects menus ahead of the tour, to ensure plenty of variety. Students enjoy well balanced meals and experience the local cuisine, which is an integral part of the culture.  In major cities NETC chooses different restaurants each evening in different parts of the city.

Breakfasts are continental which may include croissant, pastries, bread, fruit, milk, juice coffee, tea or hot chocolate.  Some hotels offer a light buffet including cereals, meats and cheese.

Tour Directors

Only NETC Tour Directors are LEAP!TM-Trained!
Our Tour Directors are unique in being multi lingual, well-educated and LEAP! Trained, so they understand how students learn, how to keep them ALL interested, how to include and engage ALL of them and how to make them ALL think.  They create dynamic learning environments that promote critical thinking, turning a sightseeing tour into a vibrant learning experience.

NETC Tour Directors stay in your hotel every night.  After dinner they will lead walking tours and other activities and offer a host of other suggestions for groups who wish to explore on their own.
