NETC Student Tour Quality

Students on tour require a safe, comfortable environment that provides easy access to local attractions and is conducive to learning.

NETC's quality enhances our students' educational experience, protects and improves our teachers' reputations in their communities, and provides for the comfort and safety of the whole group.

Unlike sightseeing companies, NETC adheres to very strict, high standards for all our student travel services and for the support we provide our teachers and staff. Our standards are those that a reasonable, responsible parent would expect for their own child.  And we guarantee them 100%: NETC Service Guarantee.

Hotels

NETC uses exclusively well-located 3 and 4 star hotels.

Our hotels are always centrally located near transportation and sights in major cities - right where you want to be.  Students can safely explore their hotel neighborhood in small groups and practice their language skills in local stores and markets.

With no long commutes in and out of town, you have more time to explore what you have come to see, and students are well-rested and ready to go after a good night's sleep in a comfortable hotel.

Head teachers/group leaders have a private room.

Restaurants

NETC students enjoy excellent food.

Three-course dinners are always plentiful and well-balanced, and NETC selects our menus in advance of the tour, to ensure variety. Students enjoy experiencing the local cuisine, which is an integral part of the culture.  In major cities, NETC chooses different restaurants each evening in different parts of the city, ensuring greater exposure to the area's traditions and attractions.

Breakfasts are continental which may include croissant, pastries, bread, fruit, milk, juice coffee, tea or hot chocolate.  Some hotels offer a light buffet including cereals, meats and cheese.

Tour Directors

Only NETC Tour Directors are LEAP!TM-Trained!

Our Tour Directors are unique in being multi lingual, well-educated and LEAP! Trained, so they understand how students learn, how to keep them ALL interested, how to include and engage each and every one of them and how to help them all to think critically and creatively.  NETC Tour Directors create dynamic learning environments that turn a basic sightseeing tour into a vibrant learning experience.

NETC Tour Directors stay in the same hotel with students every night.  After dinner they lead walking tours and activities and offer a variety of great suggestions for groups who wish to explore on their own.
