Cancellation Protection and Travel Insurance
Total Surety Plan

Job Loss Protection Plan
The Total Surety Plan includes the Job Loss Protection Plan which provides for canceling or temporarily putting a tour on hold, as a result of a covered job loss right up to the tour departure date. Details at Job Loss Protection Plan (pdf)

NETC includes important travel insurance for all teachers, group leaders and participants. This policy provides only limited cancellation protection.

Support at Home and Abroad
NETC's emergency response team can be reached 24/7, from anywhere in the world. Free Cell Phones for Teachers
NETC provides each head teacher with a cell phone. Students can rent cell phones that will work abroad.

The emergency response team includes personnel dedicated to flights issues such as delays and misconnections.
Your Tour Director stays in your hotel every night, so that you always have assistance nearby. NETC Tour directors are supported by our on-site team of Regional Operations Managers who are linked into our worldwide network.

NETC has developed a complete crisis response plan, and we retain a professional organization to assist and advise should such an event occur during your educational tour abroad.

Financial Security/Bonding and Accreditation
NETC is a member of the United States Tour Operators Association. NETC, as an Active Member of USTOA, is required to post $1 Million with USTOA to be used to reimburse, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the USTOA Travelers Assistance Program, the advance payments of NETC customers in the unlikely event of NETC's bankruptcy, insolvency or cessation of business. Further, you should understand that the $1 Million posted by NETC may be sufficient to provide only a partial recovery of the advance payments received by NETC.
